The UAE retained its rank as the top Gulf source country, and states like Maharashtra, Kerala and Tamil Nadu continue to dominate as recipients &#8211; a direct reflection of where India&#8217;s Gulf workforce comes from.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is changing is the composition. A rising share of remittances now comes from skilled and semi-skilled workers &#8211; technicians, nurses, hospitality professionals and certified tradespeople &#8211; rather than the general labour that defined earlier migration waves.
