We are looking for a reliable and experienced Watchman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and protecting our premises, personnel, and property.
The ideal candidate should have excellent observational skills and be able to think quickly in challenging situations. They should also have a strong sense of responsibility and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities: • Monitor the premises, personnel, and property to ensure safety and security • Respond quickly to any suspicious activity or emergency situations • Report any incidents or violations of rules to the appropriate authorities • Patrol the premises regularly on foot or in a vehicle • Maintain logs of all activities on the premises • Ensure that all doors, windows, gates, etc. are locked when not in use • Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems • Provide assistance to visitors as needed • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred • Previous experience as a watchman or security guard preferred • Knowledge of security protocols and procedures • Ability to remain alert for long periods of time • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
