Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and washing surfaces. The Cleaner will also be responsible for ensuring that all areas are kept clean and tidy at all times. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities: • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wash floors in all areas of the facility • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment • Empty trash cans and replace liners • Disinfect bathrooms and kitchens • Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, stairwells, etc. • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor • Follow safety protocols when using cleaning products or equipment • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to cleaning activities • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Knowledge of proper use of cleaning products and equipment
Working Conditions: This position requires standing for long periods of time while performing cleaning duties. The Cleaner may also be exposed to various chemicals used in the cleaning process.
