We are looking for a Kitchen Helper to join our team and help us prepare meals for our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in a kitchen setting, be organized and detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities: • Assist the head chef in preparing meals according to recipes • Ensure that all ingredients are properly measured and prepared • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Follow safety protocols when handling food items • Assist with dishwashing duties as needed • Receive deliveries of food items and store them properly • Monitor food temperatures during cooking processes • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned regularly • Assist with other tasks as assigned by the head chef or management team.
Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Previous experience in a kitchen setting preferred but not required • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently when needed • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Knowledge of basic kitchen safety protocols
