Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Waiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: • Greet customers and present menus • Make menu recommendations or share additional information upon request • Take orders and relay to kitchen staff • Serve food and drinks • Check dishes for accuracy before serving them to customers • Answer questions or make recommendations for other products • Manage transactions using POS systems • Clean tables, complete closing duties, restock items as needed • Follow all relevant health department regulations • Provide excellent customer service to guests
Qualifications: • Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress • Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system (e.g. Revel POS) • Basic math skills • Attention to cleanliness and safety • Excellent presentation skills • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment • Active listening and effective communication skills
