We are looking for an experienced and professional Head Waiter to join our team. The Head Waiter will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant’s dining room, ensuring that all guests receive excellent service. The ideal candidate should have a passion for hospitality and customer service, as well as strong leadership and organizational skills.
Responsibilities: • Supervise and coordinate the activities of waiters and other staff in the dining room • Ensure that all guests are greeted warmly and seated promptly • Monitor waiters to ensure they provide excellent customer service • Ensure that all orders are taken accurately and delivered promptly • Ensure that all tables are properly set up with appropriate cutlery, crockery, glassware, etc. • Monitor food quality to ensure it meets standards • Handle customer complaints in a professional manner • Train new waiters on proper procedures and etiquette • Maintain cleanliness of the dining room at all times • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred • Previous experience working in a restaurant setting required; experience in a supervisory role preferred • Excellent customer service skills required • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail • Ability to multitask effectively
