The General Cook will be responsible for preparing meals for customers, ensuring that all food is cooked to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities: • Prepare meals according to recipes and instructions, ensuring that all food is cooked to the highest standards of quality and safety. • Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. • Monitor food preparation times to ensure that meals are served on time. • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area at all times. • Follow health and safety regulations when handling food items. • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned regularly. • Assist with ordering supplies as needed. • Work with other staff members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred. • At least two years of experience working as a cook in a professional kitchen setting required. • Knowledge of food safety regulations required. • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure required. • Excellent organizational skills required. • Ability to work well with others in a team environment required.
