We are looking for an experienced and motivated Head Waitress to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant's wait staff, ensuring that all guests receive excellent service. The Head Waitress will also be responsible for training and supervising wait staff, as well as managing customer complaints and resolving any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities: • Supervise and coordinate activities of wait staff to ensure customer satisfaction • Train new wait staff on proper service techniques, menu items, and restaurant policies • Monitor wait staff performance to ensure quality service is provided at all times • Ensure that all orders are taken accurately and delivered promptly to customers • Handle customer complaints in a professional manner and resolve any issues that may arise • Ensure that all tables are properly set up with appropriate cutlery, glassware, etc. • Monitor inventory levels of supplies such as napkins, straws, condiments, etc. and order additional supplies when necessary • Maintain a clean work environment by ensuring that tables are cleared promptly after customers leave • Assist in other areas of the restaurant when needed such as bussing tables or taking orders from customers • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Head Waitress or similar role in a restaurant setting • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally • Knowledge of food safety regulations • Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
