Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and motivated L1 MPS (Managed Print Services) Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our clients’ printers, copiers, scanners, and other related equipment. The ideal candidate should have excellent troubleshooting skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities: • Provide technical support and maintenance services for printers, copiers, scanners, and other related equipment. • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues with printers, copiers, scanners, and other related equipment. • Install new hardware components as needed. • Perform regular maintenance on printers, copiers, scanners, and other related equipment. • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner. • Provide training to customers on the use of their printer or scanner equipment. • Monitor inventory levels of supplies such as toner cartridges and paper stock. • Keep accurate records of all service calls and repairs performed. • Follow safety protocols when handling hazardous materials such as toner cartridges or cleaning solutions. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. • At least two years of experience working with printers, copiers, scanners or other related equipment required. • Excellent troubleshooting skills required; experience with networked printing systems preferred. • Strong customer service orientation required; experience working in a customer-facing role preferred. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required; excellent organizational skills preferred.
