We are looking for an experienced and organized Catering Supervisor to join our team. The Catering Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our catering services, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and have a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities: • Oversee the daily operations of the catering services, including ordering supplies, scheduling staff, and ensuring that all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner • Ensure that all food is prepared according to health and safety standards • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed • Train new staff members on proper food preparation techniques • Develop menus for special events and ensure that all orders are accurate • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner • Maintain records of sales, expenses, and other financial information • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced regularly • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback as needed • Develop strategies to increase customer satisfaction levels
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred • At least 3 years of experience in catering or restaurant management required • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult customers calmly • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively • Knowledge of health codes and regulations related to food preparation • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
