Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of cash handling procedures.
Responsibilities: • Greet customers as they enter the store and provide them with assistance • Process customer payments accurately and efficiently • Answer customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area • Balance the cash register at the end of each shift • Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment • Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and other tasks as needed
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred but not required • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 25 lbs., bend, stoop, reach overhead, etc.
