We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Barrista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: • Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee drinks, tea, smoothies, and other drinks as requested. • Follow health and safety guidelines for all beverages served. • Maintain a clean work area at all times. • Greet customers with a friendly attitude and take orders accurately. • Provide customers with product information such as menu items, ingredients, or preparation methods. • Ensure that all orders are prepared correctly and in a timely manner. • Accept payments from customers and provide change when necessary. • Monitor inventory levels of supplies such as coffee beans, syrups, cups, lids, etc., and order more when needed. • Assist with other tasks as needed such as restocking shelves or cleaning equipment.
Qualifications: • Previous experience working in a cafe or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. • Knowledge of specialty coffee drinks is preferred but not required. • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy in order taking and preparation of beverages. • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build relationships with customers quickly. • Ability to stand for long periods of time while performing duties such as making drinks or taking orders from customers.
